Limited Release made from one single batch of casks; 79 in total. Never to be repeated.
During maturation, this Balvenie was transferred from traditional oak whisky casks to new wood casks; casks coopered from Quercus Alba (American White Oak), toasted and then charred.
The result is a characteristically well-matured Balvenie; its soft, honey and oaky notes are beautifully balanced with a delicate influence from the New Wood adding spiciness and hints of vanilla.
