Bladnoch 23 year old 1990 Cadenhead’s Authentic Collection Tasting Notes:-

Nose   : Flowers, apple vinegar, vanilla, hay, open fields. A drop of water increases the apple vinegar and brings out some red apple.

Palate : Flowers with mild sweetness. Wood tannins are apparent and the spice comes through – allspice with notes of black pepper.

Finish : Spice on the tongue with a medium finish.

Bladnoch Distillery

Location Lowland Southern most distillery in Scotland.
Water Source River Bladnoch.

The McClelland family established Bladnoch distillery in 1817.

Originally attached to a farm that supplied with the local barley. It was rebuilt in 1871 and passed to T & A McClelland and Co in 1878.
