Product Description

Brora 21 year old Single Malt Whisky

Bottled by Lombard under their “Jewels of Scotland” range, this Brora 21 year old Single Malt Whisky is becoming very rare.

While the distillery closed in 1983, independently bottled versions are starting to disappear.

Distilled in 1981 and aged in a single Bourbon Cask for 21 years. Cask No. 607

This bottle is presented in a wooden box that was only available when purchased from Lomard on the Isle of Man.

Brora 21 year old Single Malt Whisky on the Bottle Tasting Notes :-

Smokey, peaty nose with seashore characteristics. Powerful and pronounced palate with a peppery, mustardy finish.

Brora Distillery

Original built as the Clynelish (cline-leash) distillery, founded in 1819 by the Marquis of Stafford. The Distillery changed its name to Brora (bro-rah) after a new distillery was built in 1968 next door.

The new distillery became the  present Clynelish.

The modern Clynelish produces a coastal maritime whisky.

The old, now closed, Brora Distillery produced a smokey peaty style of malt whisky.

Because the Brora is now a closed  distillery bottles are now very rare.
