Delord L’Authentique Bas-Armagnac
The Delord L’Authentique Bas-Armagnac is a blend of very old Armagnacs selected from different barrels that represent the most typical vintages from the Delord distillery.
House of Delord was founded in 1893 by Prosper Delord. While today the family tradition continues with grandsons Jaques and Pierre, along with forth generation, Jerome and Sylvain.
Ugni-Blanc is the grape variety used for L’Authentique. While the vineyard is made up of four traditional grape verities, Ugni-Blanc, Colombard, Baco and Folle-Blanche. These are all located around the village of Lannepax in Bas-Armagnac.
Delord L’Authentique Bas-Armagnac Tasting Notes :-
Nose : Great complexity, combining aromas of vanilla, roasted coffee, cocoa, candied fruit and spices.
Palate : Complex with vanilla, woody and roasted flavours, and notes of prune, walnut and dried fruits. As a result it goes well with pear and almond cake.
