Glen Moray Port Cask Malt Whisky Tasting Notes:
Colour: Light Gold.
Nose: Toasted vanilla with subtle hints of oak. Followed by aromas of rich dried fruits and leather gently laced with dark chocolate and blackberries.
Palette: Rich burst of spice combined with a refreshing lemony citrus tang. Developing into a rich caramel sweetness with traces of cinnamon.
Finish: Smooth with soft oak and honey sweetness lingering gently on the tongue. With the spice continuing to tingle and dark chocolate flavours develop to give luxurious texture to an elegant whisky.
Converted from a former Brewery in 1897 by the Glen Moray Glenlivet Distillery Co.
