Glenlossie Single Malt Whisky 1995 Connoisseurs Choice tasting Notes;
Appearance: Dark Gold.
On the nose (neat): Sweet Sherry influences with toffee, apple and pear aromas. Hints of charred oak and beeswax linger.
Palate (neat): Cracked black pepper initially with pineapple, grapefruit and dark chocolate flavours. Becomes creamy with a touch of nutmeg.
On the nose with water added: Ripe banana, coconut and orange peel aromas initially. Complimented by charred oak and menthol notes.
Palate with water: Very sweet with orange, strawberry and plum flavours. These combine with hints of salted caramel and hazelnut.
Finish: Medium in length, with sweet fruit elements.
Tasting style: Sherried Speyside dram.
