Imperial Single Malt Whisky 17 year old

Imperial Single Malt Whisky is becoming increasingly difficult to find, with fewer vintages cropping up.

The distillery closed in 1998 and was later demolished.

This 17 year old Single Malt Whisky was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2012 by Douglas Laing. As part of their Old Malt Cask range of whiskies.


Charged from a single Refill Hogshead (Ref 9270) this is one of only 148 bottles.

Imperial Single Malt Whisky 17 year old Tasting Notes :-

Nose   : Sweet and malty + Old wooden fruit boxes and a Hairdresser’s quality

Palate : Softly spiced, sweet style runs to caramelised peaches and vanilla.

Finish : More sweet spices then developing to a drier, soft oak character. (J)
