Lagavulin Feis Ile 2013 distilled in 1995 bottled to celebrate the Islay Festival. Using European Oak Sherry Butt for maturation.

Lagavulin Malt Whisky Distillery History.
Situated on the south shoreline of the island between Ardbeg and Laphroaig.
Illicit distilling had been carried out at Lagavulin for many years before.
John Johnston established the first of two distilleries at Lagavulin in 1816.
The following year Archibald Campbell built an adjacent second distillery. Johnston took over both distilleries in 1825.
Feis Ile Festival.
Annual festival of Islay, featuring traditional music, ceilidhs, Gaelic lessons, golf, bowling and whisky tasting. The distilleries have special open days during festival week, which often includes a special distillery visit bottling.
