This Ledaig 19 year old Marsala Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky is some of the first spirit distilled when peated malt production commenced at Tobermory Distillery in 1997.
Peat-dried malted barley is married with naturally peat infused water from the distillery’s private water source. A dark aromatic lochan, high in the mountains above the village of Tobermory.
The spirit was then matured in superior oak wood casks before being finished in Marsala wine casks. Hence a beautifully rich, sweet peated single malt.
