An old Cask Strength Macduff 29 year old 1989 Cadenhead’s Authentic Collection.

Distilled in 1989 and Bottled in May 2018  by Cadenhead’s under their Authentic Collection.

at 55.1% ABV  Cask Strength 70cl Bottle.

Macduff 29 year old 1989 Cadenhead’s Authentic Collection Tasting Notes:-

Nose   : Almonds, praline, damp earth and hints of whole kiwis.

Palate : Very herbal, sage, basil and thyme mixing with faint red cherries and slightly medicinal notes.

Finish : Lingering creamy notes with traces of spice and liquorice and continued medicinal hints.

Macduff also known as Glen Deveron

The Macduff Distillery is located in the Eastern Scottish Highlands close to Aberdeen. Situated to the east of the town of  Banff on the east bank of the River Deveron, about half a mile from the Moray Firth.

The distillery does not bottle under its own name but takes the title from the local river. Using either Glen Deveron or The Deveron for it single malt whiskies.

The Macduff (mack-duff) distillery house style is a soft fruity creamy malt whisky.
