Talisker Storm Single Malt Whisky Tasting Notes;

An intense Talisker, with a profoundly maritime character.

The sweet warmth and briny, peppery finish are all characteristics of the Talsiker. That have been carefully accentuated through skillful blend of differing aged casks.

Like a warm welcome from a wild Hebridean sea.

This whisky is a Coastal Maritime Whisky. Also can be classed as a smokey phenolic whisky. See what other drams we have that may take your fancy try our whisky by taste selection.

Talisker  Whisky Distillery History.

This is the only distillery on the Isle of Skye. the name of a farm near the village of Carbost.

Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, from Eigg, built the distillery in 1830. Hugh was a senior tenant farmer, who leased land to others after they had acquired the lease of Talisker House.

After the brothers’ deaths, ownership passed to the partnership of Roderick Kemp, a wine and spirits merchant and Grigor Allan, the Procurator Fiscal of Morayshire. Who introduced significant sums of money in rebuilding and refitting the distillery between 1880 and 1887.
