Whitby Gin is a Small Batch multi award winning gin (London Dry Method).
On top of 12 traditional gin botanicals in Whitby Gin, they distil Sugar kelp, foraged from Robin Hood’s Bay at low tide; heather from the North York Moors; and Yorkshire honey from a beekeeper on the North York Moors.
Whitby Gin is Non-Chill-filtered, so you may notice a pearlescent glow when tonic or ice is added to the gin. It can go from clear to cloudy because of the flavoursome oils released from the botanicals. Chill-filtertration would remove the oils and in turn reduce the bold flavour.
Whitby Gin Tasting Notes :-
Nose: Herbal floral air with hint of sweetness.
Palate: Rich mouthfeel of juniper with a lovely clean freshness which lingers.
In conclusion with no over powering botanical this refreshing well rounded gin is enjoyable on the rocks as well as a gin and tonic.

Fill a glass with lots of chunky ice and add 50ml of Whitby Gin. Pair with 150ml of Mediterranean Fever-Tree tonic & garnish with pink grapefruit & a sprig of rosemary.
