Ardgowan Discovery No 1 2011

A very rare Ardgowan Discovery No1 Single Malt Whisky PX Finish.

The first bottling from the Ardgowan Discovery Series selected by Master Whisky Maker Max McFarlne (Formerly of Highland Park).

Max came across this Lowland malt by chance, distilled in 2011 it had been sitting in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a couple of years. It tasted superb "rich and warm with a long fruity finish". There were only two casks -just enough for them to do a small run for their new Discovery series.

Limited Edition of 500 individually numbered bottles.
