Ardbeg Kelpie Committee Release

This 2017 release for Ardbeg Day “Ardbeg Kelpie” is a Limited Edition Islay Single Malt Whisky. Matured in virgin casks made from oak grown, felled and seasoned by the Back Sea. This has created an Ardbeg aromatic with oily peat, dark chocolate and smoked fish. With waves of flavour, incredibly deep.

Tasting Notes:

Herbal aromas tantalise the nose. Go deeper and pine resin and smoky fudge appear with water and drift into a peppery mouthfeel, with clove oil, coffee, hickory wood, seaweed and smoked fish. Ð the legacy of its ties to the Black Sea.
